Are you looking to take the next step in your career at a rapidly expanding, family-run company working to improve water quality across the UK?
Looking for a rewarding, varied communications and marketing role, where you’ll be at the centre of things from Day One? This could be the role for you!
In recent years, there has been growing public and political attention on the issue of water quality, with the whole sector under the spotlight and stakeholders galvanising to prevent pollution and deliver value for bill payers. Here at Haigh Environmental, we see ourselves as part of the solution to this pressing problem.
Haigh Environmental is part of the Haigh Group Ltd, an established provider of specialist water and waste services in the UK, employing around 120 people, with offices in Oxford, Chesterfield, Ross-on-Wye and London.
Providing next-generation wastewater treatment solutions that protect our rivers for future generations is at the heart of our business. We are a company that is motivated by doing the right thing. Driven by impact, not profit, we pride ourselves on our open-minded, transparent approach, taking a long-term view on the right solutions for our clients and local communities.
Working together with utility companies, contractors and communities, we are leveraging the expertise of our experienced team to offer practical, cost-effective and standardised alternatives to septic tanks and conventional chemical dosing treatment options for off-mains, rural wastewater treatment.
This key new position will be responsible for developing our strategic communications and marketing plan, delivering strong brand awareness, and embedding Haigh Environmental’s recent rebrand across the business.
You will be part of a small, highly capable sales and client development team engaging with the UK’s water companies, small businesses, hotels, farms and individual homeowners, to help them find the best wastewater solution for them and the environment.
You will be responsible for Haigh Environmental’s external outputs, including press engagement, managing social media channels, drafting web copy, commissioning external branding and web contractors, working with sales colleagues to develop external marketing campaigns, and occasionally assisting at industry events.
This role would be a perfect for someone who has worked as a Communications Officer or similar for at least 3 years and is now looking for their next step up.
